Snowed In

The weather in Georgia and South Carolina has been a little crazy so far this week. Sunday night snow started to fall and I started getting excited about the thought of a snow day.

It rarely snows down here (although we did get about 5 inches last year!) so when it does we really try to enjoy it. I woke up to snow on the ground Monday, with more snow on the way and got the call that work was canceled-hurray!

So, we spent Monday curled up on the couch watching movies and relaxing. If only every Monday was so stress-free. It was pretty nice to enjoy a big breakfast with some Irish coffee, too!

The temps dropped again last night, causing the roads to freeze over again and since there are a few bridges on my way to work we got the day off again. So, it's been another relaxing day at the house. I've caught up on laundry, vegged out watching daytime tv and even enjoyed a nap. It's been like an extra weekend!
